Supposedly, there's a wax that Pantene professional V makes use of that strips your hair of organic moisturizers. the nearest element to the wax element is Glycol Distearate it really is a fatty acid with a waxy texture. that is an exceedingly undemanding element in maximum moisturizing shampoos. So if Pantene professional V is undesirable on your hair with the aid of this element then there are many extra shampoos available doing an same element inclusive of Aussie moist for Dry/damaged Hair, Dove each day Moisture remedy, Frizz Ease Curl round type-initiating each day Shampoo and others.

I can't use Pantene for too long because it makes my hair really oily. I like to alternate between brands. I alternate between Pantene Full and Thick, Paul Mitchell Daily Strengthening, Sunsilk Anti-Poof, and when I'm lazy, Old Spice body wash.

Almost all hairdressers will tell you it's the worst product you can use on your hair. But I've had three hairdressers tell me it is fine for my hair. I have very course hair and with all the waxes in it-my hair is more manageable. And I love Pantene.

one of the 20/20 shows took major brands of shampoo and took them to a lab for testing. Panteen came out to be the worst for your hair. The labs test showed it is full of wax, that is what makes your hair shine. When the other ingredients were removed over half of the bottle was wax. I was surprised that suave came in number one.
