It's not really good for your hair because it coats it with a waxy substance. It might make your hair look good for a couple of times, but it will end up just weighing it down and making it dull. Clarifying shampoos work well, along with a light weight conditioner. I like the spray-on conditioners because I can concentrate it on the ends with only a little at the crown. Make sure not to rub your head too hard with the towel, it will give you split ends.

If your hair is weak & needs extra care then Dove products are better. They are not harsh on your hair. More than the shampoo, the conditioner one uses matters a lot. Try using Revlon's flex,i bet you will love your hair once you start using that. It smells great.
All the best.

My girlfriend likes Dove, so that's what I buy her. Alotta stores are starting to carry Sunsilk products, and we tried the shampoos, conditioners and hair masque, and we were really pleased with them. Dove's scent is a little too feminine for me. I normally use Paul Mitchell products, because they have a nice unisex scent that's not overly feminine, but I might start using the Sunsilk products because they aren't overly feminine smelling.

I like it (Dove) Panteen so too expensive for the same result, the shine comes from silicone as it coats your hair in this so is it good for you...I don't really know I am a registered nurse not a hairdresser ask one of them they should be able to tell you but mostly they will try and have you buy their product instead.

the cheapest brand of shampoo and conditioner work the same as the more expensive. it contains the same ingredients and the ones thats say it has all these other weird ingredients dont even penetrate the hair. it gets washed right down the drain. so basically we are wasting our money on a brand when they all work the same
