I DESPISE drinking water. There are days I go without touching it to my lips. When I get on a guilt trip, I will do several things that help. First, I make sure I place a bottle in the fridge until it is half frozen. I will take it out and shake it well until it is more like a slushie. Then, I take one of the crystal light flavor packets, lemonade is my personal favorite, and put it into the water and shake well again. It makes it more like a Slush. I also do not like those flavored waters that you get in the bottles. They GROSS me out for some reason. OH, my children LOVE those carbonated Sam's Choice waters you get from Walmart. Good luck, I am there with you!

I hated drinking plain water as well. My trick is that I am a very stingy person and I can't stand to see anything go to waste. So I have four 5 gallon bottles of water delivered to my house every month and It would be a waste if I didn't drink it, so I do. Problem solved!

Many people have this problem, try drinking the water at different temperatures, that helps some people. some like it warm some like it cold, add lemon to it for flavor... but most of all just keep trying it can become an acquired taste. IT CAN BE DONE! and at first it will be really annoying you'll have to pee all the time and you'll always feel bloated and full, but your body will adjust and thank you!

add lemon or orange, teas are good for you as long as you keep the sugar to a minimum, drink Crystal light, or flavored water. You do not need to drink 64 ounces a day, there is not medical benefits, so drink before you get thirsty.

My boyfriend and I moved into this apartment you can tell it was from the 70s... shaggy green carpet, bright orange funky bathroom tile, and green oven... the water there was disgusting.. i was afraid to drink from it coming out of those old pipes... so the other day i purchased a brita purifier that you put on your faucet.. and it is soo much better.. almost sweet in a way.. i love it.. and drink it all the time now.. you should try it out.. it makes a difference

Maybe be creative with it, use a decorative frosted tall glass filled with crushed ice, add a slice of lemon to the rim, maybe a cherry or other fruit, add a decoration to it like one of those cute umbrellas. Put on a pair of sun glasses, lay on a lounge chair under a nice shaded tree and pretend you are in some exotic place drinking a great tasting cocktail..Hmmm, sounds good, think I'll try this myself.

Drinking water is an acquired taste that you eventually get used to once you drink enough of it. Icy cold water normally does it for me. They now have those 'Crystal Light' packets you can put in your bottled water to give it some flavor you might wanna try. But I'd stick with the cold water and eventually you'll get used to it.

Add some lemon juice and a packet of Splenda. Make sure to drink filtered water that is ice cold. That will help it not have that "Icky Water" taste.

Try the Kool-Aid singles sold at most grocery stores. All you need is an 8 ounce bottled water or even a glass, pour in the kool-aid, shake or stir. No sugar needs to be added. This helped me a lot.
