Run a batch of white vinegar thru it twice on brew and rinse. Then run 2 to four pots clean water till no taste remains. Simple, safe and cheap! It will keep your urns in running condition for years.

Go to the grocery store and buy some brew cleaner. Usually how they work is....you put in half a bottle and then fill the coffee pot the rest of the way with cold water. Repeat if necessary and then run 3 to 4 clean water through the machine to rinse. You should really do this once a month if you use your coffee pot daily.
