Regardless of price, I'll take variety (pilsner, lager, stout, etc.) or specific brands. Serious answers only, no Beast Ice or other 3.99 six-pack brand.

My favorite beer is Yuengling. I had it all the time when on a project in King of Prussia, PA. However here is Houston I love Shiner Bock which is a local beer. As far as a nationaly sold beer I really like Sam Adams.

My personal favorite is Guiness. There also used to be a beer called Caffrey's that was an Irish Ale with the creaminess Guiness has. Unfortunately due to some business mergers and other stuff getting in the way, it is no longer available in the states. So now it is just Guiness for me. But I look back in reverence to the Black and Tans I used to have with Guiness and Caffrey's.

Young'd Luxury Double Chocolate Stout or Wexford's Irish Cream Ale. Both are excellent, full of flavor, and satisfying.

I love Sierra Nevada pale ale, a bit bitter but smooth and tasty and appropriate for cold and hot weather! Believe it or not a can of Budweiser is great in cold weather! It doesn't freeze as quickly as others! In Alaska we have to take that into consideration! Alaskan Amber is also a great brew. Try it!

The BEST beer is the one that makes you a have a good buzz, have a good time, and doesnt give you a HANGOVER. For many people every beer acts different, I would try every single one of them just to find the right one for me! =) So far..... my best is XX (Dos Equis) from Mexico.
