Im anti, because we are one of the richest nations, and we should be helping people not killing civilians. Thats just the simple reason, I have many. But war is inevitable. I think this question regards our inner moral code/religous or otherwise.

I am anti-war, for the simple reason that it involves killing. And I am against killing.

War is inevitable only because of greed.

The ones that have want more - at the cost of the ones that do not have. A good example is the US atacking countries that have oil. Lets face it - whatever excuse that GW gives, we all know that the REAL reason is OIL.

The ones that do-not-have want more than their lot. An example here is the Palestinians fighting for their lot.

All this boils down to in the end is humanity's deep seeded racism, whether overt or not that proclaims that me and my people are right and everyone else is wrong.

The answer is there even in the question. The asker says <> . Unfortunately people like GW feel that that is exactly what they are doing.

When humanity gets beyond MY country, and MY people and MY religion and starts thinking about OUR Planet then we may be relieved from the inevitably of war.

I'm anti-undeserved human pain, but I'm also realistic.

I think it's time we **** or get off the pot in Iraq... we need to do whatever to get out of there.

But, as far as us being the richest nation and all that... first of all, no we are not... we are the most powerful, though.

Second, human nature will always produce people that will try to hurt or steal from others, and wars will result. If we don't do anything about it, we will soon cease to be a rich and powerful nation.

I'm pro but I don't like war AT ALL. I don't like the fact that our troops have to sacrifice their lives and that some innocent citizens may be killed on accident due to war, but at the same time it is a necessary thing that will always exist. Sometimes there is no other option but war.

I'm not fond of war, in fact I lost my only sibling to it, but I do believe in what he had been fighting for. We are over there helping the Iraqi people, but most importantly we are protecting ourselves. Many soldiers I have met have agreed that they do it to keep the enemy of our own soil and protect those they love here in the U.S.. War sucks, and it always will, but sometimes, like taxes, we have to do it.

I'm just grateful to our servicemen and women for doing what I know I do not have the courage to do.

Plus, I would take the media coverage with a grain of salt. After all, they're out to make money.

I'm pro-life and anti-death. That might mean war if war is to save the lives of millions of people being burned, etc.

War is the inability for people to resolve conflicts in a civilized manner. It is the sole evidence that man has yet to become civilized and evolve from the savage animals that we once were!

I absolutely agree with you. I think, however, that war was evitable. I am a Quebecer, so obviously not American, though.

I also have many reasons for being against war. Many.

Edwin Starr's recording said it well (originally recorded by the Temptations, yes, I know):

War, huh yeah
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing.
War huh yeah
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing.
Say it again y'all
War, huh good god
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing. Listen to me

War-I despise
cause it means destruction
Of innocent lives
War means tear to thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go off to fight
And lose their lives

War, huh good god y'all
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing. say it again
War whoa lord
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing. listen to me
It ain't nothin but a heartbreaker
Friend only to the undertaker

Oh war, is an enemy to all mankind
the thought of war blows my mind
war has caused unrest in the younger generation
induction, then destruction who wants to die

War, good god y'all
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing. say it say it say it
War uh huh yeah huh
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing. listen to me
It ain't nothin but a heartbreaker
got one friend that's the undertaker

oh war has shattered many young mans dreams
made him disabled bitter and mean
life is much to short and precious to fight mighty wars these days
war can't give life it can only take it away oooooh

War, huh good god y'all
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing. say it say again
War whoa lord
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothing. listen
It ain't nothin but a heartbreaker
Friend only to the undertaker

Peace love and understanding tell me
Is there no place for them today
they say we must fight to keep our freedom
but lord knows there's got to be a better way

Better question, why do you have a witch doctor as your avatar? Pretty interesting choice.

Pro war. It has to be done.
