I think that when a young person feels love, it is more sincere than any other kind of love because it is all-consuming. There are no strings attached. There is no past to have to deal with. It isn't driven by money or power. There are no ex spouses to contend with. It is a brand new feeling like nothing before. It may not last very long, but if anything, it is sincere.

teenagers are at a point in their life where they have been taken care of and know everything and are really into themselves. But as a teenager I remmebered showing extreme love for a girl I liked only to get a broken heart, and when my grandparents died I was crushed and really looked at my shortcummings with them yes teenagers love but their peer group and the shows they watch on tv encourage self-love and even rudeness being a cool thing. They will figure it all out eventually.

This question is close to home for me because I have a boyfriend who is older than me...im 14 and he is 17 and he says that I am too young to love him but HE says HE can love me...I think that I know what I feel and age doesnt determine how you feel about a person...wether you are 5 or 55 you can know what love is just as much as the next hetero/homo...my opinion...<33

I was once a teenager in love, and went with the guy for most of my teen yrs, ( we broke up a few times, but we always got back together). I will remember him forever, we stayed friends, for years.
Teenage love is real, but just like adults, it does not always last, if it doesn't in the end, don't lay down a die, believe me love will come again.

In fact a teenager's love is the most sincere love that can ever be found. the matured ones have so many inhibitions/prohibitions. A teens heart knows the purest form of love. He/she may be more confused but he is the most sincere.

In the rush of the moment they might say they are, but mostly teenagers just have crushes, infatuations... and a as a rare case you will find some who truly loves...

According to me yes teenagers are sincere in love because they trully engaged in every relation and never want to break that relation. If you fall in love in teen age then with the span of time your love is also become deep.

Sure. I'm still with my childhood sweetheart and we weren't even teenagers when we started "dating".
Its rare to find "true love" so young, but it CAN happen for some people.
If you're in love-there is no question, so don't let anyone tell you different.

Yes you can. But like anything, either love or tragedy, there is something sometimes always greater than what you've experienced in the past in the future years to come.

Too young. Its easy at that age to say yes because you haven't the experience of true love yet.
