ive been dating my boyfriend for 3 months. i never thought i would feel love again after my ex, but ive totally fallen for my current bf. i want to tell him im in love with him, but im afraid it will freak him out, too soon, ruin things, who knows..(especially if you dont get the "I love you" in return...just wondering when everyone else told their significant other they were in love with them?

I was in a very similar situation with my bf...we had been dating a few months and I knew i loved him with all my heart..i was afraid I would scare him off if I told him. It took me a while but after 7 months I couldnt hold it in any longer. I told him how i felt and he returned the feelings. We have now been together for 2 years this month. Jjust a few weeks ago I asked him why he didnt say it first..he said he was waiting for me to say it because he didnt want to scare me off lol. Its funny how our fears make things a much bigger deal than they really are.

It really depends on the bf. One guy, it took probably about 8 months to tell him I loved him, and another it took 2. If you love him that much, just tell him, because chances are, he feels the same way and is too scared to say anything. If you don't want to come right out and say it, then just find a way to show him.
If he likes/loves you for you and not looks, then he won't shut you down because you told him. He'll explain his feelings to you and will tell you he isn't ready for that step.

i no it sounds crazy and you might not belive me but 2 day for me he was fine with it he said it back and now he and i say "i love you" all the time to each other
