Please share the specific thing you have done that have significantly improved your CFS/Fibro.
I know many things, but want to hear what worked for you so that your life could go back to some sort of normalcy.
I've had it for 17 years and it has always waxed and wanes...the past 2 years have been horrible! I am not able to do the least physical exherstion right now (again).
Please help!! And congrats if you found something that helped!!
Thank you so much.
Kallie

Thanks so much everyone.
I realize there is no one answer. Was just hoping someone found something really helpful.
My pain with the FM is not bad right now. My biggest problem is with the CFS. My fatigue is extreme again, barely able to move around at all.
Anyway, any information is new information, so bless you all and blessings on your journey as well!

I'm a 35-year-old male. I started exhibiting symptoms of FMS eight years ago, and didn't get a definitive diagnosis until about three years ago, and it's only been about the past two years that I've really had good pain relief. I take 800 mg. of naproxen (Aleve) and a 1000-mg. flaxseed oil capsule every night at bedtime, and take Arnica tablets (a homeopathic herb) as needed for flareups. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I've been battling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 4 years now and when I got this system I was probably at the lowest point of my life. I had no energy at all and was in constant pain. I hated myself and hated the doctors who all shrugged it off and told me I just needed to take it easy or that I simply needed to have proper sleep!
This have completely changed my life. Barely 3 weeks on this system, and my brain fog and headaches are gone completely! I can now also manage to go for a 20 minute brisk walk without feeling exhausted.

I've seen this question many times, unfortunately it gets little response. There seems to be little that can be done for these ailments. I know the difficulty you go through, because I have the same problems. I answer these questions to keep a "marker" to refer back to, in case someone gives some revolutionary answer, and to let others know that someone else "out there" knows what you have to live with. Good Luck.

As much as I hate to admit it, narcotics, antidepressants and stimulants are what works for me.
I have multiple diagnosis', many of which share the same or similar symptoms. Some of them (in addition to CFS & Fibromyalgia neuralgia) are: hypothyroid disease, sleep apnea with excessive daytime sleepiness, degenerative bone disease (osteoarthritis), narrowing of the spinal canal (as well as herniated discs) in the cervical & lumbar spine and severe major depression. (Who wouldn't be depressed?)
The fatigue and chronic pain caused me to lose my job and has rendered me unable to find additional employment.
I guess I felt the need to provide all of the above details because it has been very difficult to accept (and embarrassing to admit) that, even though I no longer work, I would not be able to get out of bed each day if I did not have such heavy-duty medications.
I hope this has helped you in some way. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need the names of the meds that have helped me to take to your physician.
Good Luck!

I have to say my heart goes out to you, my sister and my mother suffer from Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I worked with a doctor some years back that also suffered from this condition. My sister takes adivan for the pain, but she still suffers. Foods and vitamins that are high in anti oxidants suppose to be good also.
