Then like 2 days later I accidentally bite it again while eating. So now when i eat it burns like CRAZY and it hurts when i'm not eating. I've used salt water on it like 2 or 3 times a day. Does anyone have any other suggestions instead of numbing medicine?

The warm salt water is good, also use some listerine to help kill bacteria so it doesn't get infected. If it doesn't go away soon you should visit your dentist or physician to make sure everything is okay.

You have to be a bit patient when you injure your mouth. I know that when I had braces, injuries to the inside of my mouth would take a long time to heal and it's easy to bite the injuries because they puff up.

1 - Try avoiding anything spicy, salty, acidy (oj) or abrasive (tortilla chips) for about a week.
2 - Try taking something like ibuprofen for the pain.

I found that this helped when I had braces.
