I started talking to this man on the internet and he had posed to be someone who he is deffently not!! so i went ahead and met him. I was 17 at the time and he was 41, well i am 18 now and been with him for 8 months, and he has become verbally abusive and physical at times. I tried to leave him several times but he wouldent listen to me.So, tell me what you would do in a situation as this?

LEAVE HIM!!! if hes abusing ur, then he could possibly KILL u!! he shouldnt be putting his hands on u...why wouldnt he listen 2 u when u tried 2 leave? look, u need 2 contact the police and get him off ur back; get a restraining order on him!!

Get away from him! The number of years is not the issue here. It;'s the personality and his is a bad one. Besides, 23 years when you are 17 is much different than 23 years when you are 25 or 30. Find a new guy, no matter how old as long as long as he is good to you and you love each other.

DUDE omg listen why were u with the guy in the first place his prob. all wrinkily and stuff. if u want to leave him and he wont let u thats realy bad u should like call the police or if u havent already tell ur parent they can take care of it. i know ur what 18 and u think ok im an adult i dont need my parents whatever well in a situation like this would u rather end up dead like the ppl on T.V in the Myspace crap or simply ask ur dad or mom for help to get rid of this guy.

I talk with people on Internet, who say they love me. Yet I can't love them back cause I don't know them really well, no matter how nice they seen.
Although you talk with this man on the Internet.
It best to stop this relationship for it can go any further. Talk to someone who can help you end this relationship.
P.S. Don't try dating someone from the Internet. You be asking for the wrong type.

You need to get out! Before he hurts you...find a shelter and plan your escape. I am not trying to scare you, but it can only get worse and you could get yourself killed. Get all of the support you can get, hide some money and when you can...LEAVE!
