I know that most parents say that they would do anything for their children. I have thought about this for a while and it is a tough question, because I first thought I would not commit murder, but I would actually to protect them.

I certainly would not murder for my children, at least not by the current legal standard.

However, if it were necessary to kill to protect my children, then I would most likely do so.

I will do anything and everything I can to meet his needs, not his wants. Would I lay down my life for my child, yes, would I kill someone for my child...only if they were in immediate mortal danger and it was to defend them because they were being attacked, in any other circumstance, no I would not.

Sometime doing what is best for your child is not doing what they want or doing what you want or what is most convenient. It is easier to follow "an eye for an eye" route than it is to pray for those that have wronged you, but it is best to do. Lead by the example you want your children to follow.

I wouldn't do anything that would jeopardize their well being of couse.

I also wouldn't do anything that would make them less of a person. I could see myself lying for them about certain things (don't know what exactly) but for serious things - theft, murder, etc... I would want them to take responsibility for their own actions.

Other than that, there is nothing I wouldn't do for my little guy.

I would do anything for my children. Except, try and catch them everytime they fall. As hard as it is as a mother (believe me) You have to let them learn to fend for themselves. Sometimes, I wish I were there everytime someone picks on them on the playground, or everytime they fall I could turn into a big pillow and break their fall. But if I do that, they will become dependant. Then when they are adults, they won't know how to deal with things themselves. Now, if their lives were in danger, I would DEFINATLY kill for my children. But as long as it's nothing that bad, I have to let them learn.

There is alot I would never do for my children but most of it is to protect them.... But the main thing is bail them out of jail if they got in trouble for something. And yes they have all been told this.

I have thought about that question before. I pray for my kids and I make deals with God, but bottom line I would do anything for my kids but give up my salvation. Does that make me a bad mom?

I wouldn't enable them if they were addicted to drugs or alcohol. I wouldn't lie to the police for them. I wouldn't do anything against my principles for them. Because I raised them right, I know I wouldn't even have to worry about any of this.
