the world was "formed," not "invented"...from wikipedia:
"Based on the available evidence, scientists have been able to reconstruct detailed information about the planet's past. Earth is believed to have formed around 4.55 billion years ago out of the solar nebula, along with the Sun and other planets. The moon formed soon afterwards. Initially molten, the outer layer of the planet cooled, resulting in the solid crust. Outgassing and volcanic activity produced the primordial atmosphere; condensing water vapor, augmented by ice delivered by comets, produced the oceans. The highly energetic chemistry is believed to have produced a self-replicating molecule around 4 billion years ago, and half a billion years later, the last common ancestor of all life lived."

The world as we know it today was invented by Sir William H. Snodberry, of Skuntpooter-Upon-Tyne, in 1627. Other worlds had been invented and tried, of course, but they proved unsatisfactory in many ways. The 1432 version, for example, included mountains that eroded far too quickly, resulting in rivers that filled with silt in a matter of weeks! Also, the fjords were ill-defined and blurry, not at all attractive like they are now.

Sir William set about making a new world, one that would fix mistakes of past world-inventors while incorporating new concepts. His use of lightning fires revolutionized forest-building, and by emphasizing the curvature of U-bends in certain rivers, he could increase the growth of valuable farmlands. He greatly decreased erosional forces, ensuring that mountain ranges would remain for many generations of enjoyment; and he redefined the fjords and gave Niagara Falls its distinctive shape.

The world of Sir William Snodberry was so functional that it remains basically unchanged to this day, with plate tectonics being one of the better-known exceptions: it is much slower, ensuring that Australia will not bump into anyone any time soon.

Okay, easy question, difficult answer without much proof. Typically speaking, the earth came into existence roughly 4.5 billion years ago. Now as far as mankind's, biblical existence stands at 6,050 years ago. Now a difference of a thousand years or two doesn't matter. The earth was created, yet adaption for a living world arose slowly through time. Truly, our own planet is unique. An atom or two off "in the beginning" and none of us would be asking this question. As far as popular belief goes less than a two thousand years ago, the world was flat and carried on the shoulders of Atlas.

God invented this world probably thousands of years ago, not millions. And all He had to do was to speak. Anytime God speaks, His words take action. His words are powerful.

SIT AND THINK OF IT DAILY FOR MORE THAN A HOUR, ONCE YOU FIND IT. OK ITS LIKE A KIND OF MEDITATION TO KNOW ABOUT A THING.
