i want to get trim for before summer ends................

Don't eat just drink water.

Eat less junk food and exercise some more. When I get a sugar craving I eat a spoonful of honey. I think it sends my body into shock and I no longer want the candy bar or whatever, same goes for salt cravings like chips and stuff. I'll put a bit of salt on my tongue, seems to help.

Eat healthy. I don't know how tall you are or how much you weigh, so I can't really tell you how many calories you should eat to lose weight. I went to this site and it tells you how many you should eat. I'd cut out soda and fatty foods. http://weightloss.about.com/od/eatsmart/a/blcalintake.htm
If you can't completely cut out soda from your diet, try drinking just diet colas or having only one soda a week. Also, try exercising about 3-4 times a week. Cardio is good for burning fat. Good luck!

become anorexic. Or........go organic and a vegetarian. Eat meat sometimes, but only lean meat i.e. Chicken/turkey. Cut out fatty stuff. Alot of food items and snack items now have alternatives that are low carb/fat free/sugarless and they taste perfectly fine. They can just be a bit expensive.

eat more fruits and vegies, and less bread(it takes more energy for the body to brek down vegies then it does bread and grains) and then start becoming more active, walking running whatever.
