80% of America say that they are christian, yet most of them have never even picked up a Bible, so how could they litterly consider themelves a follower of Christs teachings, if they don't even know what he wants?other religions don't get away with that!
and if you say you are christian and don't believe the Bible,WHY do you believe in Jesus, is it just a hunch....or did you just believe heresay? Or if you believe that partof the Bible is true, but not all of it, why believe any of it if you consider it "faulty" would you still use a car manual if it had even 3 mistakes in it?..I hope not.
why do so many people think that if they just believe in God, that they will be saved....even the devil believes in God.
In the bible it says when you are saved you truely become a new creature, a new person.I believe If somone says they are christian, but do not change at all...I have allot of doubt in them.
areyou a christian who cares only about what God can give you?

Christianity isn't a club you join.
it's having a realationship with our maker.
Christian means follower of Christ, if you are not following Christ-you arent really a Christian. you are just misleading people and causing others to stumble.

Jesus Himself said, "Not everyone who keeps saying to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will get into the kingdom of heaven, but only the person who keeps doing the will of my Father in heaven." (Matthew 7:21) Too many people who go to church these days have bought into a false gospel. It's "greasy grace," or "easy believism." There are those who say, I have received Jesus as Savior, and I'm still working on the Lord part.
These "Christians" are like those that Paul warned Timothy about. "You must realize, however, that in the last days difficult times will come. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unfeeling, uncooperative, slanderous, degenerate, brutal, hateful of what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. They will hold to an outward form of godliness but deny its power. Stay away from such people." (II Timothy 3:1-5)
Another thing many church people will do is this, "For the time will come when people will not put up with healthy doctrine but with itching ears will surround themselves with teachers who cater to their own needs. They will refuse to listen to the truth and will turn to myths." (II Timothy 4:3-4)
All we have to do is look around and see how many people say that they are Christian, go to church on Sundays, yet live like hell the rest of the week. Of these people God was right on the money: "God's name is being blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you." (Isaiah 52:5/Romans 2:24)

I was born a christian....raised a christian, went to church then became a church and with all that God has taught me through his spirit, there is no ways you can be a christian and not follow the doctrine of Christ and the bible is the only place that you can find the doctrine/Gospels of Jesus Christ. There is only one way you can enter into Gods kingdom and any who tries to enter in any other way is not of God.
John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

You can tell a true christian by the life they lived. If any man be in Christ he is a new creature, behold old things are passed away. Plus when you are a true christian you hunger after the word of God. That's why God's word says; Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 )
A christian must study the word of God, meditate in it every chance they get that's the only way they can grow and truly know God word's and God's will. True christians that really love the Lord and want to get closer to Him seeks God's face not His hands. They love God for who He is, not for just what He can give. Seek the Creator not the creations; Seek the Blessor not the blessings. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.

Becuase people as a group are stupid and panicky they need to believe there is more to life than their own meager existance and therefore cannot see the true love and beauty the is gifted to them by God, however one may choose to worship, I am a Proud Wiccan and I have been taught and teach tolerance for the beliefs of others, can christians say that with a clear heart and conscience? If they can, then I would say that they are true believers, regardless of where they choose to worship.

They want to consider themselves christian out of fear, they think they will go to hell if they believe something else. If you truly "live" the christian life then you are made into a new person. Some christians just may not have learned enough yet to fully live thier lives, give them time, it takes awhile. Though they do have to actively seek it to learn from it.
To the last question, no, I don't expect anything from him, but I know I will get something nevertheless.

Worry less about others, and put your energies into your own evolution. All will be saved whether they believe in God or not. God's patience and understanding is far more vast than we can currently understand. All are given the opportunity to evolve towards God. God leaves none of His children behind, no matter who they are, or what they've done. All are equal.

they ARE christians. why would you say they werent.
what constitutes a REAL christian?
what are the prerequisites for being a REAL christian?
how does one know if they are a REAL christian or not?
who determines what a REAL christian is? you? society? if a person claims that they are a christian or a follower of christ then they are. regardless of what yo uand i say. if a person claims to be a christian then they ARE a christian. since there are no requisites to be a christian then anyoine who claims to be one IS one.
simply because you dont like them or their actions doesent mean thjat you can remove them from the "christian" member list.

the incentive is the same motivation that stirred the scribes and Pharisees to crucify Jesus Christ. particularly than work together Jesus Christ in Logical dialogue and use their innate instinct, they rather argued vehemently against Jesus Christ, in a pseudo-psychological way that lacked any genuine substance. you spot the best same mentality between people who say that Mormons are actually not Christians. Their good judgment is ridiculously incorrect. of course them being incorrect, does not make Mormons precise. it is the reason Mormons do no longer spend time disproving their faith incorrect. Their are thousands of Christian Religions. yet all of them unite against the genuine Church of God. the incentive is unquestionably one of survival. those church homes that oppose The LDS Church are disintegrating and attempt to maintain themselves from destruction. yet finally their faith is ineffective. the fact would be triumphant.

A large part of the church going population are not christian they are 'church goers'. They are people who attend church for the community and for social reasons and will not be practicing christians. Not that this is a bad thing.
