Many answer that, "There is only one God and He does not die.". So what has happened to these others gods? They too were immortal but they have long gone... It must means that they never existed... hence... this god too may be a dream...

This question doesnt really know a god from a toaster that burns out. Put it this way dude. If god can die, who's running the show? Honestly but, those dudes you refer to as Gods are just what Humans were before they fell.... Um so they are sort of what we could be if we could figure out what falling was and why?? the god damn apple the snake and the three wise Ali Baba's were all up for geting their story in the worlds most poorly translated book. I guess if you could carry a cart horse on your back like Hurcules they would call you a god too, but as for dying, now thats a fairy tale the fairy god mother told us right before she set foot in the ark and sliped of into the cosmic la la land where you might end up if you forget to say your preys at night like a good little boy---- and clean your teeth!
Gods that die, wow, in that case I'm definately gonna stop acting like a God and then maybe I will be aloud to live forever...
Just so long as it aint here with all the eggs that flew once too many times over the cockoo's nest.
I'm draging this out.. but hey ask a dumb question and you attract all the dumbies...
They never died we did, on our way out we forgot to leave a mailing address....
Whith any friggin luck they might even return and make my bloody day by knocking down the Nazi scum that pretend they are not running this place- Darth Vader and his merry Storm troopers need a belting from thors mighty war hammer.
And after this post- so do I......lol

I love how Christians say, "THere's only one God and it's the one I worship!" Humans have worshipped thousands of gods, past and present. What makes theirs real and the others imaginary? Isn't it more reasonable to assume that, since all others have proven to be lies, the Christian god (and the Jewish and Muslim god) is a lie, as well? Silly theists, Santa Claus is for kids!

They died? Did they even exist? Show me proof! If they had truly existed (hopefully you know your stuff) they would either still be here or they would have killed each other off. But they were immortal. So they couldn't die. And what all the mythologies say about them, if they were still around now you had better believe we would KNOW it. They would make sure we knew it. They didn't die. They never existed.

well islam has a while to go. christianity has not long to live, judiasm isa throw up, it can go quickly or slowly...depending on the people. i thnk itll take a bit longer than christianity but not as long as islam.
a religions life span is determined by the society its in, the technology thwat society has and the ability for the society to access that technology and information.
here in the US were pretty much done with religion, were it not for the fundamentalists, right wingers and cave man stupid people wed be pretty much done with it.
in islamic countries theyre pretty much cave men..living in stone and mud houses, primitive ways of living and what not...combined with 1st world technology like electricity, plumbing and internet.
deep down though the people are still pretty primitive, just a few generations ago they were living like aborigines in africa..were it not for technologyu froim 1st world countries theyd still be like that.
so it really depends on the society.

There is a story entitled, "The Paid Piper", by Tanith Lee in which the deity states: "I was born the day the first person conceived of me and I will die the day the last person forgets."

This is such a horrible question. God will NEVER die!!!! But apparently you don't need to worry yourself over it, if you want him dead he will deny you all so !
