Yea at any age you can die from it ..if u hve it... but i am not trying to scare you if you have it... but i dont know anyone that has lived from ovarian cancer.. my mom had some friends that had it and they all died.. :( and the early stages of ovarian cancer usually do not cause any symptoms.. so people dont kno they hve it.. here is some more stuff on it..
Even when it does produce symptoms, they are often very non-specific and don't point towards a diagnosis of ovarian cancer. As the tumor grows in size, it can produce a variety of problems including:
abdominal swelling or abdominal pain
vaginal bleeding between periods or after menopause
bloating, gas, indigestion or cramps
pelvic pain
loss of appetite
feeling full after a small meal, or feeling full very easily
changes in bowel or bladder habits
weight loss or weight gain
All of these symptoms are non-specific, and could represent a variety of different conditions; however, your doctor needs to see you if you develop any of these problems.
here is a good site on it..

i don't like to sound negative but yes at the hospital i work at there was a lady that i worked with and she died of ovarian cancer at the exact age of 20, when she found out she had it she married her long time boyfriend and they had a life together for four months before she passed away. it is very sad and even though it has been a few months it still is not discussed at work, which i find difficult because we deal with deaths of residents on a regular basis i guess what makes it so bad was she was young and had so much going for her she was getting an RN degree it is a sad situation

Anyone with ovarian cancer can die. I know three young women who had ovarian cancer when they were around that age. If you or someone you know has it, it is important to get diagnosed and treated early.

As far as I know cancer is cancer and your age doesn't matter. Children can die of cancer. I am in no way a doctor or expert in medicine so I may be wrong.

I WOULD SAY YES. THERE IS A BLOOD TEST THAT CAN BE DONE FOR FEMALES TO DETECT OVARIAN CANCER, AND I WISH I COULD REMEMBER WHAT IT IS CALLED. A MAN CAN GET A BLOOD TEST FOR PROSTRATE CANCER AND INSURANCE PAYS; A WOMAN GETS THIS BLOOD TEST, AND INSURANCE DOESNT PAY; GO FIGURE. A LADY FOUGHT THE INSURANCE AND WON BECAUSE IT SHOULD ALSO BE PAID FOR. WHEN YOU GO TO THE DOCTOR, TELL THEM THAT YOU WANT THIS TEST; AGAIN, I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS CALLED, BUT THEY WILL KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. IT DOESNT SHOW IN A REGULAR BLOOD TEST SO HAVE THEM ORDER THIS ONE. GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF NOW BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW FAST THIS CANCER SPREADS, BUT YOU ARE MUCH TO YOUNG. GOD BLESS YOU
