This definitely begs larger questions but I'll stick to the narrower question for now. I can not remember for the life of me and do not want to be ignorant by citing it incorrectly. My vague memory is it is somewhere between the 70's and 80's.

I seem to remember 72 also. (From a hilarious skit on SNL a while back...the martyr recruiter is bargaining with a guy for how many virgins he gets after blowing himself up.)

1. Do you think that they would get more volunteers if they promised them Dutch hookers rather than Middle Eastern Virgins?
2. What do these people teach their women? When they get to paradise, does Mohammed meet them at the gates and say "Ah, bless you Yasmeen -- you have been a chaste and holy young woman who has lived an honorable life -- no go into that room and let terrorists rape and sodomize you."
