why have i, as long as i can remember liked men? I mean my earliest memory(about 3y/o) is of getting spanked for touching another kids ding dong. I don't ever recall "choosing" to be gay. God made me this way so why does he decide the way he made me is wrong? that i'm not supposed to have sex with men or like them? Christians, enlighten me.

People naturally take the road of least resistance, so why would someone CHOOSE to be gay? Let's see, you can either be accepted by society and live your life free of questions OR you can choose to be gay and face scrutiny every day of your life. Nobody would CHOOSE to deal with the stuff that gays have to deal with.
On the same token, just because you touched another boy's wang when you were 3 years old also doesn't indicate a red flag that you would be sexually attracted to the same sex later in life. At 3 years old, you are discovering your body and you don't even know what sexuality is or if you are starting to pick it up...you don't understand it. Spend some time observing a preschool class, it's EXTREMELY common for children to touch themselves and others. This is the time in your life when children learn to respect their bodies and learn about personal space.
If God created all things, then God created gays just the same as the next person. When are people going to get over the whole gay issue and just accept that it is what it is and it's not going anywhere? Kudos for being true to yourself...that's more than you can say for most people!!!

The last place you should look for your answer is with Christians. All true Christians will damn you for being Gay. They will tell you that hell has it's door open for you.
I would look to other Gay people for support.
God gave us the Ten Commandments, and how many people do you know that have broken at least five of them? All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Confess your sins, and they will be forgiven. You can confess all you want, and ask God to help you change, but I don't believe that works. Years ago I tried that, and it didn't work. I'm still Gay as ever.
I figure that Heaven is not going to be big enough for everyone to go, so some of us are destined to go to hell. So if we pray for help, and we aren't meant to get it, then we might as well live our lives the way we feel it should be lived. And you have to look at the facts too when it comes to Christians preaching hell and damnation to you, they probably have a few skeletons in their closets that will send them there right along with us.

Beig gay, a homosexual, bi-sexual or a lesbian does not go against God and it's not "un-natural". I don't understand why our society constantly makes it out to be some disgusting sin. I'm a Christian, I believe in God, I just have problems with the way the bible is interpreted. God made me, you, everyone in his image, he loves you, everyone, yes, that's right GOd loves everyone. God accepts you for who you are, if not God wouldn't have made you the way that he did. For as long as I can remember there has always been ministers, preacher and pastors saying that homosexuality is a sin and yet for years, many of these very same "Christian ministers and bishops" have been having same sex with little BOYS. It's a bit hypocritcal in my opinion, in fact it's a million times worse. They take away the innocence of children, of little, small, impressionable boys and then come to church every Snday morning and teach the masses that homosexuality is wrong. If you are Adam and Eve, Jen and Jane, Adam and Steve, it does not matter, as long as you are happy and come to accept and embrace who you are, because as long as you don't love and accept yourself, it will be hard for others to do the same.

God, did not make you wrong. He made you just the way you should be, the right way. God, did not give you more temptation than "straight" people, he would not burden you unfairly in such a way. We are all equal in God's eyes, we all stand on equal pedestals, being gay, does not make you any less than anyone else. Murderers, pedophiles, rapists and the like have chosen become less, and they become less mainly because they chip away the innocence that God has tried so hard to restore to our world.

God, has never decided that by making you gay that you were wrong and un-natural. Please, I ask of you, stop listening to the bigoted, hypocritical voices of the masses. God loves you, just as he loves everyone else, and don't allow anyone to tell you anything different. Listen to your heart and as long as you believe that you are doing the rightm that as long as you are not tryly hurting anyone else, live your life that YOU think it should be lived as. If you listen to your heart and the brilliant advice I'm sure it has to offer, then you will live a much happier life.

I hope this advie helps you, even if it is in a small way.

It isn't!

"For example, many Christians don't know that:

Jesus says nothing about same-sex behavior.
The Jewish prophets are silent about homosexuality.
Only six or seven of the Bible's one million verses refer to same-sex behavior in any way -- and none of these verses refer to homosexual orientation as it's understood today.
Most people who are certain they know what the Bible says about homosexuality don't know where the verses that reference same-sex behavior can be found. They haven't read them, let alone studied them carefully. They don't know the original meaning of the words in Hebrew or Greek. And they haven't tried to understand the historical context in which those words were written. Yet the assumption that the Bible condemns homosexuality is passed down from generation to generation with very little personal study or research. The consequences of this misinformation are disastrous, not only for God's gay and lesbian children, but for the entire church."

To tell the truth, I don't know, but there is nothing to be ashamed of/ But I don't think God would have someone born gay if it was wrong. People are just to closed minded to accept the fact that some women like other women and some men like other men in that way. I personally don't think of it as un-natural, just different.

Children are always a little bit curious, it's not that they like the same sex, it's that they are still exploring. God gave humans free will, and hoped that we would make the right choices in life.

I personally don't think that being gay is right, but who am i to say it's wrong, I guess God would be soemone but if you want to be gay, and are happy being Gay, be Gay, why try to be straight and unhappy, just make sure thats what you want.

this is humorous too because so little of the Bible genuinely addresses homosexuality. i have considered Christians with TATTOO's of Leviticus 18:22 on their fingers and chest. yet, they not in any respect study the subsequent financial disaster in Leviticus... Leviticus 19:28 "'do no longer reduce your bodies for the lifeless or placed tattoo marks on yourselves. i'm the LORD." the base line is that there'll continually be those who hate and they are going to locate options to hate, non secular and in the different case. How does it damage all people else if 2 gay human beings favor to be married? How does it impact all people else? If someone isn't positive and look after sufficient on your own sexuality, why might want to others wade through because of it? Homosexuality is a minor footnote contained in the Bible... There are different crimes defined contained in the old testomony that we may not in any respect even imagine to persecute someone because of... jointly with having a tattoo. So extremely what it comes all the way down to is those who're uncomfortable with their personal sexuality and experience a favor to strike out at those human beings for no reason. Homosexuality predates Jesus... In historic Greece gay male love became considered the "PUREST" of all styles of love as sex with their women became considered in straight forward words with the objective to procreate. both way, as historic as we assume of Christianity is - we favor to look previous it for the the clarification why human beings hate.

I have nothing wrong with the person that is gay/lesbian, but being a gay/lesbian is a sickness. God has said in the scriptures that you should not do it (I can't recall it right now but it is in there) and he doesn't like it.

We were put here on this earth to find our soul mate and to raise a family.

I believe that a family is a man and a woman and their children (theirs or adopted). A family is NOT a man and a man or a woman and a woman.

Sorry but that is my belief.

It basically all depends on what you believe. I consider myself to be christian yet i do not believe the being homosexual is wrong. I truly believe that people are born gay and do not get to choose. Its the same as opposite sex relationships. Take a woman who is in love with a man that beats her, she does not want to be in love with this man but she doesnt really have a choice in the matter. You cannot choose who you fall in love with. I believe if God wanted us to all be the same he wouldnt of made us all so different.

I don't know but I am sure as soon as a christian reads this they will be all over you!! I don't understand why they are like that they hate gay people and that is wrong because they love god and they are supposed to love everyone but are quick to judge gay people! I don't think God hates you for being gay I think people make up stories as they go. Like they say God is good and they tell you to save yourself before you die or you will go to hell if God is that good I don't believe he will let you go to hell? Do you? I really don't think so.
