I just kept putting off and putting off sending the gift out of sheer laziness, now i've had a bit of a falling out with the female part of the couple that the gift was intended for, and so i'm wondering if it's ok to send that gift to a couple who got married more recently (both of whom I actually like)

Yeah as long as no one gets their feelings hurt. You did not tell anyone what you bought the first couple did you.? If not, no one will know except you. If you told the first couple you got them a present , probably better send them a little something, even if you had a falling out with one of the party. You might patch it up and then where would you be? Look cheap/or lazy?what would it say about you as a friend.

Well, they don't know that, so I think it's okay. If the gift is something you think they would like and have a use for, there's no reason not to.

I bought a silver Turkish mirror as a wedding gift for my husband's friend who was getting married, but when my husband didn't have an address to send it to, I later gave it to my dad and his new wife. They ran off to Vegas, so it was nice to have something already on hand! They both loved it. And I have to say that my sentiment in giving the gift was the same as if I had gone out again searching for a gift--I just already had the perfect one in my closet!

Well does the gift fit the personalities of the second couple who is getting married? I don't see anything wrong of so.

Yes, just be sure you don't have the wrong name on the card or something. If the gift is new, it's perfectly fine.

As long as you don't have to re-do any engraving, sure.
