He must have been cause he never held down a steady job and had to have a woman support him while he wandered the Earth trying to find the meaning of life.

I assume that you are talking about the passage in the gospels that has Jesus "denying" his family outside where he was preaching. However, this would not have been considered "unruly" in the ANE's culture, as it was at that time in a Jewish man's life at which he had to "sever the bonds" with his parents and start to become independent. However, it is still disputed whether he was even "denying" them at all!

Right up to the end, as he tipped over the tables of the money changers as he entered jerusalem, he was a handful.
Unruly is not always bad. It's just contrary to the norm.

And had access to wine way before his time. Those sandals and the beard had to really drive Mary and Joseph out of the synagogue.
