Prophacy was fullfilled in new testament. John the Baptist was elijah.

Yes, I believe he will be back again as one of the witnesses in revelations, but it is not written who the witnessess are , so that part is only opinion.

Your question reveals that you do not understand the bible, because you seem to think that Jesus and GOD are separate entities. They are not, Jesus said, I am in the Father and he in me. They are one and the same, but can and do carry out functions separately when needed. Example of separatness, on the cross at calvary, GOD turned his back, so that the sun would not show its face, earthquakes rocked the earth and the curtain was torn from top to bottom.

Pretty amazing the awful things that can and will happen when GOD turns his back on this world. BUt he wont turn his back on us, if we just accept his free gift of Salvation, his son Jesus Christ, because no man can come to the father, but through Jesus Christ his son.
Not through mary, or peter, or the pope, Jesus and Jesus alone is the way to the father.

Sounds like you are a Muslim or something like that. My advice to you would be to read the Bible and find out the answers for yourself, but you are not really interested in those answers. As for Americans, we are mostly materialistic, and I am not talking about buying stuff either. I'm talking about a materialist world view. This world view will flow quiet seamlessly into the coming communitarian system that our world leaders are envisioning for our future. All that means is that the individual is sacrificed for the good of the collective society. It also means that Muslims and Christians won't fit into that society. They will be sacrificed for the good of the communitarian society.

ill start with the second part of your question. Jesus and God are one in the same (that who he who has seen me has seen the father thing). as for Elijah, I heard this theroy. In revelation, God sends two prophets to discredit the antichrist. who are these two men? there were three that left earth and there is no body for them, moses, elijah, and enoch. this theroy says that the two men will be one of those three, thust elijah is sent.

Jesus is God, in the New Testament it tells you very plainly that God made himself a body to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, doing away with the old law where you had to sacrifice bulls and goats. I and my Father are one.

Mt 17:12 -13 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Jesus is God, he is the son of God too. Confusing?
