Too many children and pre-teens on here asking about sex, should Yahoo answers have a special section for them only, with only a few people answering thier questions instead of all the bs that goes on now? I think they should.

If kids are asking questions about sex they deserve honest and straight forward answers. I'd rather mine ask me but If they didn't it's better that they get serious answers and links than BS. I don't know if answers should have a special section because I'd be afraid of Pedifiles taking advantage

No, it hasn't driven me to other sites...but it has made me very wary. And very sad. I was away from the computer for a long time. Just recently came back because there's a lot going on in my life right now and I need the distraction. And the sage wisdom of people my own age who made it through similar situations. And just simply the familiar lightheartedness and chuckles that were always abound here in Y/A Seniors. As for the one who causes so much trouble, I'm sorry to see he's still around. And it's crazy that he's been getting away with this for years now. Wanna hear something funny?.....I finally got my first two violations~ever!~within the last month or so. Didn't hurt me a bit, lol, but there's no doubt where they came from. Thanks for posting this question and giving everyone a chance to speak out. It's been a while since I've seen some of these long-time members...and there are even a few other familiar faces/names who acknowledged their approval by leaving stars. Have one from me, too, Spike. You earned it!

I definitely think it's a problem. Young people are asking about sexual things, and if they get misinformation on things such as contraception or protection against STIs, they could be putting their health in danger. They at least need to be aware of the questionable sources of the information they get from this site.

Actually I think the fault lies with parents who are not teaching and supervising their kids. Why should a child be on a computer communicating with the world at large about sex in the first place unless a parent has failed to exercise their parental responsibilities?

No. They are not following the guidelines. That is not information they should be receiving here.
