Cruel is a human word used to define an emotion or describe an act for means of communication to another human. For those who believe in the traditional "god", I don't think that "god" is cruel because the world has emotionally and physically distressing problems that occur. Life is what it is, and we have certain choices both positive and negative, along with uncontrollable factors such as disease, etc. which shape our growth and emotional state. Going with the "traditional god", I dint believe that "he,she,it" has a desire to be "cruel" to those living on earth. We can choose to be cruel to each other, but there is not a "supreme being" that has "got it out for one of us" or for a certain group. You are also transferring your own feelings onto a inanimate being who does not think/exist like you do, yet believing that "god" does think like you do.

God is not cruel..people are cruel...everybody always wantst to blame God. Its always been thus. He warns us..."Do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil or you will die." So Eve ate and gave to Adam. As they were confronted they both blamed outside forces..Eve used the "Devil made me do it.." and Adam had the audacity to blame Eve and even God..."the woman YOU made me..." So no..every evil, wicked thing that exists in this life is against Gods will for us but as we are free to choose these are the consequences..so when ever you see something beautiful, something pure and wonderful and awesome..whenever things go well and someone is saved and nature suceeds and miracles happen..that is God still here striving with us..if He did not this world would be a total pit..and the more we withdraw from Him the more it will become a pit...so the time is short. Soon, for all and for ever, God will destroy this earth and those that have corrupted it and themselves and there will be no more pain, suffering, torture, desease, death or wickness. A new earth will be made new and Christ achieved this with His blood to purchase you so be careful who you blame...God is not cruel..not ever. Love in Christ, ~J~

God is not cruel. God is love. As a matter of fact, he’s trying his dead-level best to get us out of the predicament we got ourselves into when we were thrown into a world ruled by a spirit that is very cruel.

Do you remember as a child when you wondered the same thing about your own parents?
GOD is our parent, and we are his children. WHen we do not understand something as a child, we tend to blame it on our parent .
As we grow and mature, we come to the understanding that our parents were not cruel, they just wanted the best for us.
THe same can be said about GOD, only in a way that we still do not understand, but we can know that he wants the best for us.
Someday GOD said that all will be revealed, in that moment, we will understand the reasons behind all things.
What a day, we will finally be mature and grown up.

God isnt cruel, God loves us all like all parents love their children,
He is not cruel, its US, we need to live in His grace and take whatever he gives with a smile, and learn to be satisfied. whatever he does is for our good.
just like...when a mother takes her child to get an immunization shot, now the kid thinks that his mom is cruel, she's giving so much pain, but actually she is just doing for his good.

You assume God is cruel because you evidently believe He is responsible for what goes on in the world. He gave us free will and just look at how we are thanking Him. And then we blame Him for it. We are pathetic.

God is not cruel. The devil is the one who is cruel and the evil one, who is always lieing to you.
God is HOLY, pure, and good. He can only love. For God is LOVE. God cannot lie, and will never lie.
The devil wants you to think God is cruel. The devils the one who whispers those lies to you. To cause your heart to be hardened against God.
Do you believe God or the devil? the devil is the Father of lies,
God is the Father of Truth, Hope, Faith, and Love. God wants to do good for people, and the devil wants you to hurt, and die lost.
God wants you to be saved, so when you do leave this life, you will be with Him forever, because He really does truly love you, as no one could love you more than God who created you in His image.

God who is Allah has the beautiful names and perfect attributes, if you don't understand His wisdom this doesn't mean He is cruel, it is simply illogical and not good for you to talk like this regarding your Al- Merciful God.
