If you don't mind the expense, in KC I've had the best cheese burgers at JJ's, Capital Grill and the Savoy Grill. They all use Top Sirloin and grind it out. These are upscale restaurants so the cost is high along with the service. (Ten Dollar Burgers) They are big juicy wonderfully garnished. JJ's has a absolutely fabulous bun that is made fresh at the restaurant. Capital Grill hand makes their wonderful fries. Liquor is available in all. Oh yea one of the great hidden joints downtown is called the Cigar Box, juicy burgers with the best fries in Missouri. Make reservation for the cardiologist!
