According to Orthodox Judaism that age of Prophecy ended several hundred years before Jesus was born. After the five books of the bible there are the books of the Prophets and the Scribes. If you read it, it will tell you the last dates of the Prophets were around the beginning of the second temple which was 500 years before Jesus.
We think of him as more of a false prophet then anything else. If he had no father and lineage comes from the father how could he have come from the house of David. Jesus was from an area were there were a lot of converts to Judaism so the question is, was he born Jewish. The questions continue to go on. Like many religious doctrines there are a ton of holes on both the Jewish and Christian side of this argument.
Some Jewish groups disrespect Jesus. Some beleive that he is in Hell, in a sea of excrement. Before anyone gets really offended by this, just remember that if for 2000 years you have been harassed, beaten, tortured, and persecuted, you might not be that in love with the guy whose name they used to do all those thing to ya.
One last thought Messianic Jews are not realy Jews, they are confused Southern Baptists. If it looks like a duck, smells like a duck, and quacks like a duck, chances are it si Souther Baptist.

Messianic Jews do. They are Jews that believe Jesus is the messiah. As for orthadox Jews, I would imagine it would be each on an individual basis not as a general group of people. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

Most Jews don't really have anything against him, they simply do not believe that he was the Messiah.
It really can't get any simpler than that; there is nothing to hate him for, and most people respect him for preaching his faith...He was Just a good guy.

They think that he was a normal man that was following his idea of faith and goodness. They don't hate him or anything, they just don't believe in the 'walking on water' thing.
