Okay guys if hes Unisex why does jesus call him "Father"
The bible was writin by men, who wanted male power over the females.
Before Christianity women were more respected, im not talking about present time, look through history and thats what im talking about. Look at how they were treated, before christianity they were treated ALOT better

The Bible says that God created man in His own image, and then created woman to be His companion. However, since the question of male dominance is also an issue here, God has used women in the Bible to do His will as well as men. The Bible also says nothing about oppressing women, and commands, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it." (Ephesians 5:25).

You're right. The MEN who wrote the Holy Books of various religions created God in their own image. Also, until just the past few years of political correctness, all English writing used the term "men" to mean humans. Unless specifically referring to a woman, the terms 'he' and 'him' were used to refer to all.
Obviously the idea that God looks like a male human is designed to give comfort to those people who choose to believe that way, and has been used for centuries to oppress women. The idea tha God has human features defies any logic. Does God have a stomach? What does He eat? What happens to the products of digestion? I'm sure that some of the people I'm disturbing with this answer will gleefully label me as one of the products of God's digestion... The fact is, however that the idea of God being anthropomorphic is comforting to millions. Who am I to disparage their beliefs? I hope that those who are offended by this can find it in their hearts to forgive me. I will be happy to have a dialog with anyone, if you can keep it civil. Peace.

I've thought about that many times. My guess is God created man and woman. Man to fertilize the woman and Woman to carry a child. If God was a woman I think he would have chosen Man to carry the children. Therefore, not creating a child with Mary. I realize this sounds like a joke but I'm being serious. I hope I explained myself clearly.

It is not a stupid queston. God is not male or female. But it is in the mind of the beholder so god could be either. no two people that I know of has the same god anyway. And I don't believe so it don't matter in my world.

Who ever said God was male or female? Please be specific. If you are talking about all the He's and His's in the Bible then get over it already. In any book written before teh past twenty years the rule was to use the masculine whenever the "sex" was unknown or indeterminate.

God is not a male or female. In the new testament it states that he is a spirit. We just refer to him as a he because "he" is the common use for second person.
