I don't like to be sad, because I'm a happy person. I was joyful and laughing and enjoying every moment of my life. But now, I'm getting sad, and everything seems dull and boring to me...can anyone give me suggestions?

Because its a chemical imbalanvce in the synapes. This is the junction between the processes of two neurons or between a neuron and an effector organ, where neural impuleses are transmitted by electrical or chemical means. In the chemical transmission, the impulse causes the release of a neurotransmitter from the presynaptic membrane of the axon terminal.

The neurotransmitter molecules diffuse across the synaptic cleft and bind with specific receptors on the postsynaptic membrane causing depolarization or hyperpolarization of the postsynaptic cell.

Yes depression hurts. But even then you can overcome it and be happy.Pray and ask for God's grace. We have a good God.He wants us to be happy and prosperous. That's why He sacrificed His precious life for us.
I too experience such times. At such times I try to remember of all the good He has done for me and I praise God.You can read the Bible.I have experienced praising ,praying, and reading the Bible have a very great power.
Don't brood on the past especially the sad experiences. At such times you can read, listen to some good music, help others,do a bit of gardening,or play with friends younger than you.Why don't you have a pet, especially a dog?The most important thing is not to idle.
I shall remember you in my prayers.

Is an accumulation of many emotions you have buried in your mind's storage area..they are now acting as triggers and cause things to take place that you don't really understand why this is happening to you. When you are able to release those emotions (and you don't even know what or where they are), you will find the sadness and stresses; those strange reactons, to be far away from you.

This is a subconscious cleansing (of sorts) to delete those implanted triggers!

Just focus on the happy stuff but to me, this is just boring lasitudes and banal advice.

Some people really need to take drugs for this stuff but because I am not a psychiatrist I won't say anything.

Because way is to hang around with people u like....bf/gf, family, friends, pets

Possibly just the monotony of life getting to you?? Doesn't necessicarily mean you're depressed. Has anything bad happened to you lately? Could be association.
