Ok Im 5'7 and i weigh 119 pounds and I'm 13 years old. But some people I know are my height but are like 110, 114 and then some people that I know and are my height are 120-140. They say I'm skinny but some of them are 5 and 9 pounds below me! I really dont get this. Should I lose pounds and be like them: 110 or 114? or gain weight and be: 120 - 140? please answer my question.

You seem fine for your height. You may have developed sooner than some of the skinnier girls. Remember that as you get older, you are probably only going to gain, not lose weight, from this point on, so the girls who are 120-140 now may look good at the moment, but will probably end up being pretty hefty by the time they are 20.
Muscle weighs more than fat, too, so if you're athletic you may be heavier than someone the same size who is a couch potato.
Keep active, eat sensibly, and look in the mirror. People always said I was skinny when I wasn't, just because they were fatter, so don't listen to that, but likewise don't listen to people who say or make you think you're overweight.

Calm down, your weight is fine! A little on the thin side, and 120-140 would also be healthy and far from "fat". Also, body composition (how muscular someone is, their shape, etc.) can make someone weigh more or less than they look, so there's no perfect weight for everyone. But 110 is way too skinny for someone 5'7" and those girls might have eating disorders and will likely have health problems from it if they don't already, or they might be lying so they don't seem heavy compared to their 5' friends!

Don't worry about the numbers or try to weigh what your friends do, otherwise it could lead to bigger problems. You're fine, please don't try to lose weight. Gaining a little wouldn't hurt, but there's no reason to force yourself to gain either as long as you feel like your current eating and exercise are natural amounts for you (if you have enough energy, aren't hungry all the time, etc.).

Don't worry, you are just fine. It is just your perception, your self image that is causing doubt. Go to: http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx this is a Department of Health Website, you can calculate based on your age, height, weight if you are ok. Incidentally I entered you height, and weight, here is what is says:

Based on the height and weight entered, the BMI is 18.6, placing the BMI-for-age at the 48th percentile for girls aged 13 years 0 months. This teen has a healthy weight.

I have two daughters, they both agonized over their weight thinking they were too thin, or too fat, I guess that's natural. You are just fine, don't worry.

Danielle,

At your height and weight you are skinny. You don't need to diet at all! If you are eating normal, healthy meals 3 times a day, then your weight is where your body wants it to be. Weight depends on a lot of things - your metabolism, your bone structure, genetics, etc. Comparing yourself to others is not a good idea. What's good for one person isn't necessarily good for someone else. At 13, you should only be worried about eating healthy satisfying meals and treating yourself to a snack now and then! Eat your protein, veggies, milk, cheese and be happy!

stop tripping. there is no uniform shape for the human body.
and if you have any more questions, go talk to a medical professional.
another thing, STOP comparing yourself with other people! You will NEVER measure up to who ever you're comparing yourself to, because you will ascribe that person with having some attributes that you may already possess, but you won't see it cause you're so focused on those around you! That's a good way to drive yourself crazy!

Neither sweety your body is your body. Conforming to the standards of others is not the answer. You at 13 are in puberty. Let your body find out where it is comfortable. Then if you think you are too heavy a sensible diet would not hurt you.

Why don't you just stay at the weight you are at? You don't have to be like everyone else. Your weight is fine, a couple of pounds isn't going to make a difference.

you are still young. so you can do exercises and sports.
I don't think you are skinny. At least you are not obesity. but it is not good if you are weak.
so, go to gym or take a sport that you enjoy.
