Where is the biblical evidence for two phase rapture? I read that it happens at the last trumpet (when the world ends).

Hate to break this to you, but as other answerers have said there is no rapture. The idea of a grand rapture event is not scriptural and was not even mentioned by anyone in the whole tradition of the Church until the 19th century. If the intent of your question is to ask where I will be when Christ returns, then I will simply say that I will be in Christ. If I have died, then I will be with Christ. If still alive, then I will be with Christ. If we die then we die in the Lord, and if we live we live in the Lord. Either way we are in the Lord. The important thing about Christian life is not getting caught up in the sequence of the end times. After all Jesus himself said that we will not know. The important thing is living every day of our life in the Lord. If we do that then it really doesn't matter when he comes. We will be ready. In fact, we will already be with him.

Honey I read the question, and believe you want a serious answer. I know most people will try to be funny, and give stupid answers. First of all there isn't going to be a secret rapture. Many people are teaching it,but they are very wrong. Read in the bible about Jesus's next return. It will be very loud. Every eye will see it. The evil people will try to hide from him and beg for the rocks to hide them from his fierce glare. Those who have followed him and kept his commandments will be overjoyed, and will meet him in the air. The bible says his feet will not touch the ground. He will be accompanied by millions of angels. I hope you are one that meets him in the air. All the evil ones are killed by his brightness. If you want more e-mail me at tandforsumr@breakthru.com

At the moment of rapture, we will go to meet Jesus in the clouds until the 7 year tribulation period is over, and this is only if the rapture occurs in our lifetime.

GREETINGS...With all due respect to you, there are no Scriptures mentioning "rapture" anywhere...There are however dozens mentioning RULING OVER THE EARTH! In fact in Acts,it states "David is both DEAD and BURIED,and his tomb is WITH US to this day"...and Jesus Himself said,"NO MAN has ascended up to Heaven except the Son of Man who came DOWN from Heaven." Look them up and you will find the Truth...Prince David/Ambassador To The Most High

The concept of the "rapture" was invented by dispensationlists in the 19th century and has no historical basis in Christianity.

When Jesus returns the earth will be remade...there will be no more "here" as we know it.
