I think it means that when we love someone we overlook their faults. However, I think people tend to interpret that to mean we ignore their faults or pretend they don't exist. One way of stopping the blindness is to recognize when something is unhealthy regardless of how we feel about the person, emotionally. Ignoring or excusing problems don't make them go away. It usually just creates catastrophies later.

Love is awsome you have know clue when it will hit you its always going to be blind and once you thing you got it figured out it will hit you like a ton of bricks. The best part is it makes you wake up in the morning b/c you never know when you are looking at the love of your life he/she could be sitting next to you every day or it could be the total stranger u bump into on the street. its a rush

Honestly someone can tell you something and it can be right in your face but girl you cant help who you fall in love with . Its just that serious sometimes. But you know what happens you start thinking of all the good things he does and makes you forget about the bad things .. write a list of pros and cons.. and if the cons are longer sweetie get ou t while you can. Trust it wont be easy but its possible. I know when you love someone its hard to let go but you gotta do whats best 4 u . Only you can live your life and be in your shoes. love is blind because you love the person so much that you can't see what they do wrong. the best way to see if your being blind is to ask your friends, they will tell you what is going on. take care

Love isn't blind, but we BLIND ourselves to our "Boy/Girlfriends" faults when we have a CRUSH. Notice I said crush not love. Love knows the truth, but has patience and doesn't care. With a crush, you just don't notice. How do you stop the blindness, realize they aren't PERFECT, but wake up just like you do, somedays good somedays in a bad mood, they don't like certain things and aren't always nice. In other words they aren't perfect. When you realize that they're just like everyone else, but you like them anyways, you'll start seeing them for who they really are, for good or bad : )

I belive love is blind refers to the fact that people see what they want to see. The best thing to do is have a friend hang out with you and tell you what they think. and listen to them...................
