More important than Age, I believe, is the mental readiness. Different people mature at different rates and ages. Problem is desire is elevated at much younger ages today. If possible I would recommend waiting until you are 19 or 20 to consider that decision. As you get older you will find that the guys you are with in High School aren't around anymore and really lose interest fast. If a person isn't willing to wait on you till you and them can establish some commitment then they don't love you anyway. You can only give yourself to one the first time only once and that's special for that person you choose. It's a gift that you give once and I feel that you would feel better about it if you did it with someone that you actually had a long relationship with and that could turn into marriage. There also isn't anything wrong with waiting until you are married .. that way you know you have found the person that's willing to sacrifice all in commitment to you and after all is that not what you are looking for?

There is no "right age" to lose your virginity. You should be old enough and able to handle the consequences. You should be able to talk to your partner about possible consequences, birth control, condoms, sex, etc. The day you are married would be the perfect age. I think if you have to ask this question then obviously you are NOWHERE near ready.

I believe that losing your virginity shouldn't be planned because in all actual reality your life is already planned for you. Live your life when it is the right time you will now. Don't let no one pressure you into making it a mistake. Having responsible sex is what's important.

It's up to you. Most people THINK they are ready around 15 or 16, but you need to be sure. Personally, I'm going to save it for marriage. Honestly, I think it will be a whole lot more special. Save your body. How do you know that the person you are going to share it with is the one you will marry? And the person you marry will always be insecure with the fact that you have already slept with someone.

My advice is save it. There are too many negative consequences.

But it's still up to you.
