If you mean two windows(programs), open both the windows, make sure they are not minimized, right click on the task bar(the bar at the bottom) and choose Tile Windows Horizontally for a stacked view or Tile Windows Vertically for a side by side view.

Its not possible to get split window, you can open a new window and make the windows smaller so that you get both on screen

ON YOUR RIGHT HAND CORNER WHERE MINUS SIGN(MINIMIZE) THEN 2 SQUARE OVERLAPPING EACH OTHER (RESTORE) THEN X (TO CLOSE THE WINDOW). CLICK ON RESTORE BUTTON FOR BOTH WINDOW FILES THEN USE YOUR MOUSE TO GO THE EDGE OF EACH WINDOW AND ADJUST THE SIZE OF THE SREEN TO MAKE IT SPLIT (FIT THE SCREEN) FOR 2 WINDOW FILES
