There are 'full time' positions in the Air Force reserves. After he graduates, he can apply for one of these positions.

And no, you cannot quit the reserves anytime you want.

Which is a question your son should be asking his recruiter if you or he really don't have an idea what he's in for. NO you cant "quit" the reserves. But it is the RESERVES, part time (until his unit is called up full time). So theres plenty of time for a job. If he gets called up active, his employer must hold his job or another similar at no less pay when he comes back. Its Federal Law.

don't understand the job part of your question!
NO he can not quit when he wants to, he must service the time that he enlisted for, in most cases 3 or 6 years

Speaking with a recruiter on the subject would be more beneficial than trusting a bunch of strangers on the matter!
