A small percentage of children still wet their bed at that age. The approach all depends on whether it is primary or secondary incontinence.
Primary incontinence means she has always wet the bed since she was young. If this is the case I am sure her parents already know.
If it is secondary incontinence this means she has restarted wetting again. Could be due to urinary tract infection or stress/anxiety.
Ask her if it burns when she pees, this could suggest a urinary infection. Ask her if she has ever seen a doctor about it. Tell her it is not her fault, and might be due to a health problem or infection.

She sounds like she has a bladder problem... I would talk to her in a private area when no one else is there and say..."hey, cuz.. do you trust me?" When she looks weird at you say, " I want to help you if you let me" then say "you are obviously embarassed about the night time problem and I don't want you to feel badly here" then say "I know this happens to alot of people at night and adults too" " You could have a bladder infection or a weak bladder" "you need to see a doctor and get checked out" then say "I don't want you to feel embarassed but I could get you some bladder protection at night if you want?" See what she says and go from there... I am hoping you are a female but if not things could get very uncomfortable for her.
The plastic sheet idea is a very good idea as well when she is not in the room. Put a blanket over it and then make the bed so she does not feel it and know that you are doing that.

It has nothing to do with sexual abuse.. give me a break some kids just wet the bed and most grow out before 13 and some do it all the way up to 16-18
it also runs in the family.. so ask around...
you can buy fitted plastic sheets for the bed.. Just tell her its no big deal! but if she would like you could buy her some good nites so that she will feel more comfortable...

She might have a urinary tract infection and might need to see a doctor. Or sometimes people wet the bed until they get older.
I'd put a shower curtain underneath the sheet to protect the
mattress. I would ask her if she's seen a doctor about this,
and if it just started happening or if it's happened always for her.
If it just started, it might be an infection and she'd need to see a
doctor. If it's been ongoing, she still should see a doctor.
I'd try not to embarass her because it's not her fault.

at 13 this is a sign of sexual abuse! talk to her about it. ask her if someone has touched her in wrong places. point to your body and ask if someone has toucher her body in those places. ask her if someone makes her feel uncomfortable to be around, get a name! then you can take some action. 13 yr olds DO NOT wet the bed unless they are disabled and the cathitor hasnt been changed. If you cant get a name out of her let her know your going to tell her mom because you have no choice since she wont help you get her help. that might scare her enough to name her abuser. of course you should tell her mom anyway so mom can get her help.
good luck!

Don't let her drink anything before she get ready for bed. Make her go to the bathroom twice before before getting into bed. In put something that will hold the pea under her

Buy her an adult diaper or tell her to sleep on the couch. Then Tell her parents to take her to the doctors for an evaluation. Could be a psychological problem.

You may want to talk to your Aunt about it. Ask her if she has been to the doctor about it. I have heard about people around her age wet the bed. It's really embarassing and I can totally understand your concern. Yes I would talk to her parents. Just tell them that you are concerned and want to help.

Sounds like she's got a lot of emotional issues. Maybe she's being abused at home? maybe she was raped and no one knows it. She needs therapy (and that is not usually my answer)
In the meantime, get her some goodnights panties, near the diapers. (just leave them in the room, maybe she'll use one)
