Is he shy and doesnt have the guts to ask me out or does her want to be just friends?

ok, this guy and i have been friend since the 4th month of school of the year 2005 -2006, so, he and i r really fun together, i have the feeling that he likes me cus he asked me out before and he says that if i feel unconfortable i can invite a friend to all out hang outs, lol, so i do, i still dont think im tht funny around, and lately before school ended anything i said would be funy to him and he would laugh and ppl started noticing, and this kid i dont even talk to has sais, and yellled at me " he likes u itsa obvious", and that guy who i think likes me, i like him too, and i started likeing him since the 2nd week of school in sept in 2005, so, now that hes my friend and close too, idk, if he likes me or hes just nt ready to date like i was last year, (by the way i am and i no im fun, and funny, and very cute, and out going), dont think im some loser who just talks cus she wants to, i NO how to think and am a very smart person, lol, im really confused,

You could try talking to him and see.You might try starting the conversation by asking him if he ever liked a friend as more than a friend and if he says yes ask what ever happened with the friendship.And you might ask him how he told them or if he did,This might open up lines of communication.And tell him you have had people tell you that they get the sense that he likes you as more than a friend and see how he reacts.But the important thing is to talk to him because if you both like each other and it seems like you belong together waiting too long could mean it would be too late.Still learnin had some good advise too.

Why not just ask him out? Maybe mini golf, or just to get an ice cream and talk, or ask him if he wants to go for a walk in the park, whatever you feel comfortable doing. Then see how it goes. Don't push it as being a bf/gf thing, just do it as friends - without the tagalong person. While you are out on this get together, you can then bring the subject up about perhaps going somewhere on a date sometime... which leaves the door open for him to ask you next time. About him being shy, he probably is not willing to be told no again, and knew how you felt the last time. He is probably not aware that things have changed in your eyes, and being honest with him would be an excellent thing to do while you two are relaxing on your 'friend' date. Good luck!

Now all you have to do is ask him out. Tell him remember when you asked me out? Well now I really want to go out with you. Plan a date and a movie or something you both enjoy and see where it goes from there.

the first friend you mentioned cares for you and is jealous of your new found friend.this makes him guarded. he begins to think more and more about you and desires your attention even more. you need to find out what you want from him and be direct, otherwise the situation can become weirder.
