Have you tried deleting your cookies? Do you need an update from your spam and spyware provider? Do you need a different provider? My spyware from Microsoft Windows gets regular automatic updates, and it asks permission before allowing any new sites to access my computer .

You have a SPY FALCON. I had the same thing a while ago and only Webroot Spy Sweeper could remove it. Do you have an icon in task bar where the window pops up saying about critical errors? My spybot could not remove it. Do not download anything from the site where it takes you to.

Uninstall any spyware programs you currently and have and reboot.
Go to Internet options and make sure everything is set to default and the size of your temp internet files is 10meg. Go to download.com and download adaware and spybot. After installing each, run a 'complete' system scan, not just standard after booting to 'safe mode' in Windows. Do a search for degunk your computer and follow the directions to degunk it.

I have stopsign antispywear. If you go to spopsign.com and pay a 7 dollar fee for a one month deal, you can run there program, and it should find the problem and deleat it from our system. Some addwear and spywear is desighned to get you to purchase another companies program, just so they can remove the stuff that they infected you with. the stuff I use also has awsome online support. good luck

You need a program called Spybot Search and Destroy. this will root out this trojan program and remove it. Beware internet sites that try and install software on your system! Another useful program is called Ad-Aware. Also the windows Bitdefender program is also helpful. These programs are free!

You should get webroot spy-sweeper from http://www.download.com/ or ad-aware and also mcafee from http://www.mcafee.com/ the firewall and antivirus. This sounds like a virus. Always try to close the popup with the red X at the top right and do not download the thing.

I don't know how to fix it but I feel your pain.Happens to me.
It got so bad that I couldn't use explorer hardly. So I use mozilla firefox instead.Fixed the problem I guess. Now it only comes up once a week or less. And isn 't as persistent.Just X it out and it goes away for a week or two.
Mozilla is the sh%!t.

I use the pop-up blocker on the Yahoo toolbar and it works fine.
You could download it here : http://toolbar.yahoo.com/?.cpdl=iy
But also do a full system scan, to make sure your PC is ok.

They are the internet standard in PC cleaning applications.
And they're free. they'll find baddies you didn't even know you had.

FIRST AND FOREMOST....DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE WINPROANTIVIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a virus/malware/potentially unwanted program itself and will mess up your computer!!!!
Ignore the popup, install a popup blocker if it bugs you that much. Check out the instructions on gur.in for more info on how to remove it if you installed it.
