how can i take picture from a dvd movie with a high quality?

i tried to snap pic wiht hypersnap
from window media player
and the pic quality were poor

Plz try Intermedia DVD plus or use other thrid parity software like DVD cutter or Dvx plzyer for better picture

At particular snapshot you want to take, pause the DVD player. Then use Irfanview to capture the screen and save to file. To capture the screen use menu: Options - Capture/Screenshot then Ctrl-F11 to capture. The quality depend on your how large you open your DVD player.
