Yes, I do. What has an atheist won, if there perhaps, is not a God or eternal life? What's he/she going to do? Laugh at me and tell me I was wrong? No. If no eternity, then the atheist will be dead all over (like Rover). What if there is a God? Who has the advantage? Someone who doesn't believe in God, yet believes in the second and third laws of thermodynamics but contradicts them, or one that believes in intelligent design and in those laws of thermodynamics?

Psa 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good.

Going to church doesn't make you a christian, though, and saying the sinner's prayer doesn't make you a christian. You must LIVE the life, and OBEY Christ by faith just as the examples of obedient did in the Old Testament. Faith is active, it is not dead. Faith comes by hearing God's word, Romans 10:17, and the author of faith is Christ. He sets the guidelines, and He saves those who OBEY him by faith.

Heb 5:9 and having been made perfect, he became unto all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation;

Christ is the author. Where does he say to pray to him in a Sinner's prayer? I find no passage. I find this..

Rom 10:13 for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

A verse that is terribly misapplied. Calling upon the name of the Lord is SUBMITTING to his Lordship and his AUTHORITY, not saying "Lord, Lord".

NOTICE: Submitting/Calling is action..

Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his name.

Luk 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Jesus and His key-carrying apostles have set the way. Acts shows that people of faith obeyed Christ and His Great Commission. Why is this so hard to accept?

Act 2:38 And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Go down to vs 47.

Act 2:47 praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to them day by day those that were saved.

used to go once a week but since my second son has started walking & getting very vocal...it's been a little difficult. i do feel guilty missing mass but my husband is the representative for the family & goes every week with the elder boy. hopefully soon we can all start going again as a family. =)

Yes, I do.

Also, there are several Biblical references that encourage you to do so. Read Hebrews 10:25 - "let us not give up meeting together...", or Exodus 20:8 - "remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy".

My answer is , "No" , cause The Scriptures
in no way order so neither Christ did.
Churchgoers do so in respect of their own
Congregation discipline , but i have asked many and the answer is uncertain(?) , so to say , they do it 'cause they Fear God , but no more prove or Bible Instruction for it .
I myself , don't attend any particular Church or congreagation , but i do read my Bible at
Home.
Thanks.
