I do love music, especially independent music as I believe it is a more pure form of the art. I also play the guitar (not well I might add) and I have attempted to form a band with some of my friends, but none of us are very good. As for emotions, I believe music is the best way to express and release emotions in a way that everyone can appreciate.

I hate having to stop listening to music when I'm in class. I listen to it all the time. If I'm not listening to some form of music, have to either play it or hear it in my head. I'm the same way...have been since I was able to walk and talk. Piano, guitar, bass, drums, clarinet, flute...I tried the violin, but it's a bit challenging...fingers cramp easily with it. I also sing quite a lot and write lyrics for everything (most recently for a book).
You could say I'm a bit obsessed...I'd love to be an instructor or talent agent ::sigh:: but I'm not that far along in school and such.

I love music. Other than my parents, music has been in my life since the beginning. Even after they split up. Loud screeching guitars and heavy metal riffs, as well as melodious acoustic sounds has always been the only refuge or salvation for me. The numerous sounds of the guitar has been my savior countless time. I first picked up a guitar shortly after my older cousin (who took me under his wing) went blind. He played guitar until he went blind. He sort of gave it up, so I got to mess with his guitar. Since then I've been trying to learn what I can. I still ain't that good, but I keep on trying to play. I have dreams of being one of the bests, but I know thats just a pipe-dream and I know it can't it can't come true without a lot of discipline and devotion. I grew up listening to Country music and Rock N' Roll, but I like listening to heavy metal music. Metallica's "Fade To Black" is the reason I wanted to learn how to play guitar. Other than the few girls I've had "relations" with the guitar has been my only love. I made my own verison of "Amazing Grace". Some say I play it wrong, but I think I play it how I want to hear. I strive to be to do the best to my abilities, but there is no way of knowing how good I am or how good I can be. I try to learn new stuff and encourage others to keep on playing. Without music I don't know where I'd be or what trouble I'd be in because of it. People say I could be a number of things, but I think that wouldn't have been possible without the confidence I learned from the music I listen to. I owe a lot to music and know of no other way to live. At least I try.

I Have loved music since when i was 15, and now I'm 21 and a Trance DJ. I still love my records and when I'm training even in my flat, I think that people are watching me and I put more emotions on that, its crazy, isn't it?! Just feel the music that you are listening or playing, they talk to you, just feel the, then you will see that you are putting all your emotion on it.

Music is my oxygen, luv: if i went without it, I'd die. I play piano and am constantly blaring whatever type of music possible out of my stereo. My iPod has everything from abba to Ying Yang Twins and everything in between and is my constant companion. I write songs and express myself through music, lyrics, and dance. I feel that if some one can't sense SOME emotion in the song w/out the lyrics telling them, then they seriously need to get in touch with themselves. Music is an art and a source of life. It is my religion and my soul.
