Paul was a liar. John the baptist was a liar> why did they write the bible in third person and not first? why is it according to history Nazarene did not exist until after Jesus died?
At First christianity started as a mix of religions under support of the Roman government. they were laughed at until the Romans decided to kill people that did not believe in christianity. ever since then christians have lied cheated stolen and killed to be top dog religion. Nothing has changed and if the christians had thier way this government whould be a theocracy. But there are still non christians in this world and like it or not we are here to keep these Barbarians and Neanderthals in check and keep them from hurting other people and themselves. The bible was written by a bunch of power hungry people that wanted nothing more than power over the world. they did not care what they wrote in the bible as long as it sounded good to the people.
people like to use the old testament to support thier bigotry towards gays and witches. what about slavery? the bible supports slavery and some religious fanantics go so far as to defend those that whould still want slavery to be legal. I do think that most christians are no better than the muslims they constantly put down everyday.

The New Testament was indeed compiled in the 1st century AD. However, the entire Old Testament was written in Hebrew from somewhere around 1500 BC until about 375 BC, and translated into Greek in the Septuagint, because Jesus read from Isaiah in Luke 4:18. Homosexuality is sin, an abomination before God. Call it bigotry if you want, sin is just sin, and the Bible says in James , if you keep the whole law, and offend in one point, you are guilty of all the law.

The Bible is clear about homosexuality and the scripture you provided proves it. The other simple thing that proves that God disapproves of homosexuality is found in Genesis. He created a man and a female, and he told them "be fruitful and become many and fill the earth." It was clear then that the original purpose was for a man and a woman to be naturally together, not homosexuals. It surprises me to find scripture about homosexuality, even back then in those days. Leviticus was written in 1512 B.C.E. it's kind of scary when you think about it.
And for your other question, Genesis was completely written in 1513 B.C.E. so I would think it was written close to that time.

Once again, the Bible teaches that the act of homosexuality is an abomination, not that the person is an abomination.
The Bible was written before the birth of Christ, my goodness, how many times must I ask you to please read it? There's an entire section called THE OLD TESTAMENT, written thousands of years before Christ.
I've made this as intelligent an answer as you can possible handle right now in your mentality, so please stop asking, you won't get a different answer.

The first 5 books of the Old Testament were written by Moses inspired by God about 1500 BCE. Others were written after by other prophets and individuals inspired by God.
The apostle John wrote in the 3rd person as that was the style of writing in his day, they were humble and modest then.
In early Rome after Christ's resurrection:
The early Christians hid in the undergroud catacombs of the city where they met, had church, prayer etc.
The Roman soldiers killed the early Christians in the catacombs with lions, also had gladiators kill them.
Romans 2:24
"Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves.
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, Who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections; for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet....."
So which creature out there is going to stand up to God the Creator on Judgement Day and tell God your point of view??? and how it is going to be??

The bible has been edited and re-writen many times.
People full of hate will believe what they want about what is un-natural, and against god, and feel right in doing so if it's "in the bible". Make up your own mind on this, but I tend to lean tward tollerence and understanding.
Also there are more good reasons to have sex then to make a baby. Perhalps you just want to make you and your wife or husband feel close and special.

the Bible doesn't teach bigotry. Homosexuality does NOT have a legitimate natural reason to exist. It serves no purpose. The primary purpose of sex is to procreate, not to massage the prostate.

A homosexual is no different than any other person. Why does it matter what their sexual preference is? Thats like me hating someone else because they don't like the same kind of food as I do.
P.S. (the bible is not based on fact)

Leviticus 18:22 states "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is destable" Is that bigotry? No, in GOD'S eyes
homosexuality is destable.
