About 60-65 days. Two signs will appear about the same time Clear Mucous discharge from the vagina and enlarged, pink nipples. (If the discharge is not clear seek veterinary attention at once.)

If your dog is having problems Whelping (giving birth) Call vet. Problems are as such:

More than 24 hours have passed since her temperture dropped without the onset of contractions

More than two hours of intermittent contractions have passed withour progressing to hard, forceful contractions.

More than 30 min have passed of strong contractions without producing a puppy

More than 15 min have passed since part of a puppy protruded through the vulva and the puppy makes no progress

Large amounts of blood are passed during whelping. The normal color fluid is a dark green to a black color.

Best of luck!

Usually about 9 weeks. A vet should be able to tell for sure if your dog is pregnant about 6-7 weeks into pregnancy. By the way, it may also be a false pregnancy like my dog had.

ok- do not set up a bunch of diverse places. set up a whelping field in a quiet part of the domicile and gate it off or close the door and performance her sleep in there until eventually the pups come so she will be in a position to get used to it. be certain she is going outdoors on a leash in straight forward words until eventually after the pups are born in the different case her instinct will be to pass to floor to have them which will propose below a associates porch or another inconvenient position. do not enable her pee contained in the domicile. it really is disgusting and unsanitary. be certain you've about $1500 placed aside for a c-section and your after hours vet emergency type accessible. you would possibly want to be feeding her effective domestic dog nutrition as a lot as she needs. you need to have kept them separated to commence with. and also you're proper. a really professional breeder don't have an idiotic coincidence. Get her spayed in spite of everything the pups pass domicile.

If you do not know about a dogs gestation period you should get your dog spayed. Your job as a breeder is not done at 8 weeks, its never done, what happens when one of the puppies are 4 yrs old and the owners dont want it and it has health or temperament problems? Are you going to take it back?
What are you going to do when your dog rejects the pups are you going to shove that tube down the pups throat to tube feed the puppies every two hours?
Whelping is dangerous on YOUR dog also, what are you going to do if your dog needs an emergency C-Section? Do you have a $1000 to fork over for that?

Breeding is not easy nor Cheap... Spay her for yours, your dogs, and the future puppies sake...

Yes, if you don't know about canine pregnancy, please get your dog fixed ASAP. With 2-5 million animals being killed every year, a good portion of which are coming from inexperienced breeders, it's not worth it to keep her 'fertile'. It's also a health risk to your dog. Please, call your vet and scehdule an appointment to help her live a happier and healthier life.
