well...that is a little bit of a big age difference...
i think you should give him a chance to grow up a little bit.
plus i just dont think that a 14 year old has the same potential for a boyfriend as someone your age

Technically it is legal for a 50 year old man to date an 8 year old girl as long as they are not in a sexual relationship. So I guess its not wrong if it is plantonic.
