What ever you do, do not attempt to fix it yourself or have a friend do it. You will end up spending even more money than you would of if you would have just gone to a salon to begin with. I am a colorist and let me tell you how many people I have fixed in this situation. They try to save money and end up with hair that is in bad condition and the color is a mess. Which equals a lot more time for a colorist to fix it and a big bill. You have a few options: they can remove the brown completely in one shot but it is the most damaging route but the quickest and most expensive, you can have highlights and low-lights both put in (highlights to match the color you would like to go and low-lights to match your current brown) then each time you have it done your colorist will add more of the blonde and less of the brown. If you go with the 2nd option it will probably take until your 3rd time of having it done to feel like you are where you want to be with the color. It's much less aggressive and will leave your hair in better condition. Good luck!

What I have done in the past for a similar situation was douse my hair in vinegar. It gently strips the dye. Try adding some vanilla extract so the smell won't knock you off your feet. If that doesn't work, salons have a stripping formula. My hair bounced back in less than a week after using the salon formula once. good luck!

Best thing to do is to get another kit close to your hair color and put highlights in it and let the dark color grow out and it looks better than the skunk look.

there's a reason they call dye PERMANENT. You probably have to dye it blond again, although washing your hair a lot might get it out. You're going to damage your hair though.

Never listen to 'everyone' again. Keep your hair a blonde color, a soft red, or maybe a light brown.
If you ever dye your hair dark again, use the semi-permanent. That's what I do!

I'm afraid that if you get the stuff the beauticians use it will strip your hair. You should ask a beautician or maybe try getting it glitzed for blonde highlights going eventually lighter and lighter and wider highlights till you are blonde again.

do not temp to remove the color yourself you will cause a lot of damage....call a salon and tell them you need a color corrector done on your hair...that will take you back to your original color...or you could have them add high-lights to your hair which is actually blond streaks,,,and that would be less damaging...your lucky stop now and see a professional before you cause more damage right now its still healthy...good luck to ya

You must get a "bleach. But you need a professional to do this kind of job. You can do it yourself buying the bleaching powder in any beauty supply. But, its not recommendable. Warning: This procedure may damage your hair.
