i have a neighbor who is 50 and single and dying to go on a date. I don't know of anyone who is her age. She's not LDS, she's just looking for a nice guy so I thought I would send her their direction to attend some activities, but I don't know how to find them. Any help would be great!

I just went to www.lds.org and looked under "Other Resources." There I went to Meetinghouse Locator. Typing in "United States" brough up a search page. Typing in "Salt Lake City" for City and "Utah" for state gave me the addresses of 92 meetinghouses, along with the wards or branches which use these buildings. Looking down the list of congregations I find most single adult wards are for student singles or YSA (Young Single Adults 30 years old or younger). However, there are a few which just say "single adult."

Emigration 2nd (Single Adult) Ward
Parleys 7th (Single Adult) Ward
Monument Park 19th (Single Adult) Ward

Were the three I saw. Details on addresses and meeting times are given in the meetinghouse locator.

Find Lds Ward

I think there is one up in the Avenues that has no age limit. But I would go to www.lds.org.

But keep in mind that there might be some 50 year olds that go to a family ward. I know that growing up there was a few in the ward I went to back home.

Usally the single ones are 18 to about 30 or so. I've only heard of a very few that go over 30. But I could be wrong.

Just stop in at ANY LDS ward and ask where the nearest Single Adult ward is. They will be able to direct you.

Or

Go to www.lds.org and look up a meeting house for your area. It should give you what you are looking for.

or

on www.lds.org there is an 800 number to ask questions. They could help you with what you need.
