No one is going to care but you. Make it easy to understand. I just named my puppy, Smith. He is a hunting dog, so I like names that start with S and Smith and Wesson are a brand of gun. Sounds good and strong to me.

Think of something that you like, Movies, Music etc. Something with come up, like my puppy is named Rufus Edward Van Halen. Rufus from George Carlins character in Bill and Teds Excellent adventure and The other part well Eddy Van Halen from The Group Van Halen.

I've always been advocate of spending time with animal....a day or three and see if animal has quirks or characteristics that might suggest a name.
That could backfire....we had a dog when I was teen that we wound up calling "Dog"
