One poker site that has many popular pros behind it is Full Tilt, and you'll see many pros wearing the gear.
Some poker sites I'm not real familiar but I'm sure are very popular are Paradise Poker, Absolute Poker, and Doyle's room.
Check out a poker magazine and you'll see many others.
All of them offer free poker (playing with play money).

The best poker sites are the ones that not only give you free money, but also have horrible, sucky players... more money for experienced players!
My favorite is Spin Palace poker. They give you free cash and have some of the worst players online or anywhere! Trust me, these players suck. If you lose to them, you probably need some practice, so you're in the right place. If you win, you're in the right place too. I'll be in there tomorrow night.

I prefer the poker site listed below. There are too many reasons to list. There are all sorts of games with different blinds, so you can play exactly what you want.
