Looks do matter, but the person inside is more important than what is on the outside. If you love him, than that is all that matters.

Yes, looks do matter, but the subject is kinda shaky. Everyone has different taste and some people you find attractive others do not. If you find someone attractive, don't worry about it.
Think about it this. Are you attracted to ugly guys? I mean, I'm not trying to insult ugly people, but seriously, looks are incredibly important. Other qualities matter too though. It really is different for everyone. Some people are only interested in looks, others money, others humor.... etc. Only you can answer that question for yourself.

Looks matter to some. Maybe when she finds her soul mate, you will think he's ugly. When you love a person, they become attractive to you even if they weren't when you guys first meant! This is in any case. Ignore her opinion, as long as you know hes a good one and that looks really dont matter whether hes hot or not, then your good to go.

Looks matter at the start.
When you see something you like, you want to get more information about it...
That's why internet dating has become so popular... It's like shopping online.... you see what you like and the start asking questions to find out more....
Looks are not the end all be all though.... A guy can be super hot but a total jerk. So in the long run, it is all about personality, but to get to the long run, you need to catch their attention first!

well looks are what you first see when you look at a person. your friend doesnt know your boyfriend like you do. my friend is the same way towards me and when i talk to her and i say how cute my boyfriend is she will just look at me with this disgusted look on her face. sometimes it can get to the piont where i think she is just jealous becuase i have a boyfriend and she doesnt. so maybe she is jealous. so just go around and tell her that your boyfriend is hott! becuase it doesnt matter what she thinks after all, its what you think! i hope this helps!

It isn't really "looks" that matter, it is what turns you on! If he is attractive to you then that is all that matters. Your friend just has different aspects of a man that she prefers, it doesn't mean that YOUR man is ugly, or that she is jealous.
And never compare "boyfriends" or what you like in a man with your girlfriend. It is a competition thing with women.

looks do matter because you dont see ugly people with beautifull people unless they're rich or hung like a donkey.So the same with rich and poor people
