It will come. It could be someone at work, or walking down the sidewalk. I really believe that there's someone for every one. My aunt didn't find her love until she was in her 50s, but she was so eager to have that love that she made lots of mistakes in between; this is her 5th marriage. Please don't push it.

And 24?! Do you know how young that is??? Your life expectancy is probably more than 3 times that! You are involved with work right now, but you have friends. Be open to having friends of the opposite sex. I'm pretty positive that, when you have time, you'll find that one of those friends will have some sparks; once you take the time to notice, that is. ;-)

Do not fret, I am 39, single and haven't given up hope myself. Right now, you are busy with your career and your Masters' Program, I'd doubt you have time for a relationship now anyway.

Do not try to "force" a meeting with a future mate, if you do not seek, it will just come to you. In addition, you are in the two best social situations in which to meet someone, you are at work, gainfully employed and you attend school. Those are the best places to meet someone that shares your goals and qualities you probably are looking for in a partner.

P.S. to lonely in NY -- Do not refer to your son as "baggage", he is your joy. If a man cannot accept him with you in a relationship, then that man is not right for you.

You are only 24. You are a man, so you have your whole life ahead of you to find the right person for you (us women have until 40 so it is a different story). I suggest you live it up. The 20's are the best years of life.

PS: the best place to meet someone is at church!

I found true love at age 34 ... and again at age 43.

Don't worry, you have many years left! If you're busy with career and school, concentrate on those. When school is done, make time for some fun.

Find a group to join ... a sports league, civic theater, church choir, book discussion group, whatever ... something you enjoy. You will make friend who share a common interest, and one of them might be the one you're looking for.

Good luck.

24 is still very young; you have plenty of time. Get settled down with your Masters and career..love will be there when you are ready.

At age 51 it can still happen. For a few moments, I found love again, but my fiancee, who was quite younger than myself, past away. This will take time to heal, but I have fond memories,

I know my parents didn't get married until they were in their thirties. You just have to wait and let love takes its course. You'll find someone some day you just can't force it and you have to be patient. You may meet someone on the street or at a restaurant, but it doesnt have to be the club

You WILL find someone...it might be next week and it might be in 10 years but you will find someone!!! It is GREAT that you are getting your life on track BEFORE marriage and kids!!! That is a WONDERFUL, MATURE action to take! Good luck and stop being so broken hearted! Just have fun for now....your true love will fall into your lap when you stop looking!

My mom was 24 and my dad 26 when they met. True love almost at first sight. They've been married over 15 years now, and still love each other now as much (or maybe more!) than they did then.

By the way, she only had two boyfriends before him, and he only had one girlfriend!!!
