There is no need to feel torn between two countries. Almost all countries now also speak English as not only their 2nd language but often as their language of business transactions. Find a teacher and/or school tutor and/or another student or look for community classes to help you speak English better. You can also practice by watching soaps. That's what some of us do to speak and understand Spanish better.

My wife is spoke another language at birth, but now she speaks English very well. Her mom still speaks broken English. The difference is who they each associate with the most. You should try to hang around more people that speak English. You can go to a Church or get involved in some social activities. The more you are around English speakers, the more it will force you to learn English better. Good luck. And I think we need more people like you who want to better themselves in this world. God bless.

First, opt for even if you should study British, American, or Australian English. There are significant alterations. yet they are all both comprehensible (you could talk to an American with a British accent, for vice versa). i advise studying American English, because individuals talk extra obviously and under no circumstances drop their R's. Then, pay interest to pronunciations. there is Pronunciationbook on YouTube to coach you the way, or you should use a dictionary. There are some words that would nicely be said better than one way (like "in many circumstances" or "both") and be both brilliant. There also are some words that are written an same yet have diverse, yet in many circumstances similar, meanings (separate, for instance). then you definately could the right thanks to "blend" words". Foreigners have a tendency to grant words their complete pronunciation, and go away pauses in between the words. which will sound unnatural, like you're enunciating. words blend jointly and would replace their pronunciation now and again. The "T" in "metallic" and "it really is what it really is" is in many circumstances said extra like a "D". it really is needed to study the English R sound. that's like an L, yet curl your tongue back somewhat. it would no longer contact the roof of the mouth. that is because the "Rolled R" will be at a loss for words with a "D" or "T". also, study the "Th" sounds. There are 2 variations of 'Th', both said utilizing an same tongue position. don't be afraid to adhere your tongue out somewhat for Th. you're able to! it could be impolite in some cultures, yet no longer so in ours. attempt chatting with 3 English audio equipment. possibly make a journey to us of a, uk, Australia, or yet another English-conversing position. I went to Mexico for a week and that i noticed an progression in my conversing skills for Spanish.

Take some classes, buy a translation dictionary and just talk to people, If you look like you are trying they will help. If you want to go back, just go to an INS office and you will get a free ticket back. But only YOU can make up your mind..do it before someone makes it up for you.
